Her love of music was nurtured by her father, the Reverend Thomas B. Pettus, who was a member of the music ministry staff of Messiah Baptist Church, and Minister of Music at Holy Hope Church Baptist, both of Detroit Michigan.
Currently she is a member of the anointed gospel quartet group JOY. Singing in JOY for the last 7 years has afforded her the opportunity travel and perform throughout the United States.
Her life’s scripture is 2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” She truly lives by the sentiment that in her weakest times God is at his strongest!
